Decided to try this place out as I was in the area. I have been to this location before, but didn't realize it was under a different name. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a hostess and he said I can sit wherever I want. Once I said, I was given a menu. There were many items to choose from such as appetizers, Bento box, sushi, sashimi, and even sushi and sashimi combinations that they had. Prior to arriving here, I looked at the menu via yelp, and I did not see an item that I wanted to order on the menu. I asked the server and she said it was a special item that is not on the menu. I ordered the pink Lady roll, which is a rice less sushi roll, which had crab meat, cream, cheese, and asparagus inside, which was topped with salmon. I really enjoyed the roll and the crab meat was a great substitute for the rice. The restaurant had a great ambience to it. There was even a bar area where you can sit to grab some drinks. And from what I can remember, there was a TV at the bar area and upon walking in there was a big screen. This is a great place to grab sushi if you are ever in the downtown Claremont area.

Food was great!!! Loved the tea and the limited edition christmas roll was soooooo good!!!! The waiter was super nice and friendly and checked up on us a lot. The manager Eric, is very nice and patient, super polite to customers. Overall wonderful experience!!

We have only eaten food delivered from Oni, and have yet to eat in the restaurant, but the delivered sushi is quite good. My kids aren't really into exotic sushi, so they got avocado rolls and California rolls - both were satisfactory. My wife got the rainbow roll and I got the Claremont roll. Our friends got something like a 911 roll, a crunch roll, and we shared the edamame. As you can see, nothing super exotic, but all the sushi tasted great except the rainbow roll - it just didn't seem ... fresh? I don't know. Delivery was on time and our overall experience was that it was "good but not great" sushi. Maybe a 4.3/5.

The salmon sashimi was exquisite. It was buttery and melted in your mouth. I will be back after my workouts as much as I can. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu has great options for everyone. The place is super clean. I can't wait to get more of the menu items. Luckily we tried them right when they opened so they were not to busy just yet on a Saturday mid morning.

I really likes this place, it's tidy and well organized. The servers that attended us were really nice and friendly. The food was fresh and satisfying. The portions are a good size. The only thing I was not so impressed was with was the spicy edamame , I think it's because I'm used to pan fried. I will still come back to try new things. I am rating it a 4 only because of the edamame.

I always enjoy coming here for a quick lunch. I always get the bento with so many yummy options and a salad and soup that comes with it, you can't beat it. The service is always so good and the atmosphere is clean and friendly. Be sure to check this place out for lunch or dinner!

Plenty of seating inside a welcoming environment! The waitstaff was friendly and quick. The music was the best! The fish was super fresh and fatty and flavorful! The sushi platter had plenty to share with a party of 4, plus adding the combo C made us all full, but not stuffed. I am so looking forward to trying more sushi.

This is my go-to spot since I live a 20 min walk away. The service here is above average. The ambiance is nice and warm with comfortable seating. And the sushi...the sushi is pretty good. I'll usually get the Mama Mia role and something else. I've never had a bad serving of sushi, and the chefs are good at making the rolls as they never fall apart. The tempura appetizer is also a pretty good choice to start, and you can never really go wrong or mess up with that order. All in all, a consistent offering for sushi if you're in the area and mood for it! Enjoy, and cheers!

The food was good, I ordered the udon and my friend got the tonkotsu. We both enjoyed our meals, the only thing u docked a star for was the portion size. My friend and I have been here before and we both remember there being more noodles than we got. I didn't take a picture of my other friend's dish, but they got a 2 entre bento box and the portions for that was also a little less than we remembered. Overall, great service and solid food. I'll be back again if I'm in the area and craving some Japanese food. There were plenty of tables when I went and no wait on a rainy Tuesday evening.
